SRMUN - Hotel Information

To better meet the needs of our delegates and faculty, the SRMUN Conference has moved to a new home at the Hilton Atlanta Airport. Offering a free shuttle both to and from the Atlanta airport, the Hilton also has affordable dining options both inside the hotel, as well as within walking distance. Access to free wireless internet as well as a Starbucks Coffee can both be found within the hotel lobby. This year's room rate will be $118.00 per night for all rooms (single - quad). To ensure this price, schools must reserve their rooms by xxx as part of the SRMUN Conference. To do so online, please follow the link below:

PLEASE NOTE:
The online form only allows five hotel rooms to be booked at a time. If your school needs more rooms, please either register twice or use the traditional hotel fax form.

In addition, if you are planning to pay using a credit card, the Hilton requires the completion of a credit card authorization form.

Any schools with special needs students who require handicapped accessible rooms or any other special accommodations should book their hotel rooms through the online booking system, indicating that they require a handicapped accessible room, and note in the comments, being as specific as possible what accommodations you will need in your room (i.e. wider doorway entry, roll-in showers, etc.). Please follow-up with a call to the hotel approximately 48 hours later to confirm your room accommodations.

Directions and Parking:
Shuttle Service from the Atlanta Airport:
Follow the signs for ground transportation. Shuttle departs every 15 minutes from the hours of 4:00 a.m to midnight and is on call after midnight. Look for our blue and silver van.

Driving Directions:
From the North: Take I-85/I-75 South. When the interstate splits, stay on I-85 south to Exit 73 (Virginia Avenue). Turn left onto Virginia Avenue. The Hilton Atlanta Airport is approximately 3 blocks on the left.

From the South: Take I-85 North. North on I-85 to Exit 73A (Virginia Avenue). Right onto Virginia Avenue off of exit ramp. The Hilton Atlanta Airport is approximately 3 blocks on the left.

Alternately, if traveling on I-75 North from Florida, continue on I-75 North to 285 West to I-85 North and continue on I-85 North to Exit 73A (Virginia Avenue). Right onto Virginia Avenue off of exit ramp. The Hilton Atlanta Airport is approximately 3 blocks on the left.

Parking:
SRMUN has negotiated a special parking rate for those delegates and faculty driving to the conference. The rate is $5.00 per day. To secure this rate, please pull up to the ticket booth and take a parking ticket, and proceed to self-park in the hotel's lot. When checking in to your room, notify the front desk you are with SRMUN and that you have parked a car in the self-park lot. You will receive a decal to hang from your window that will allow you to enter and leave as you please throughout the conference. The parking will be charged to your room as an incidental charge, to be paid at check-out.
